The first Property Race Day was held on Friday 6th July 2007. The event raised over £100,000, giving two nominated charities £50,000 each. The event was a great success with some 700 guests enjoying a fantastic day's racing. Guest tipster Frankie Dettori was on scintillating form tipping three winners and two placed horses from his selection of five.
The funds raised enabled SOS Children's Village to help build a primary school in Basse, The Gambia, as part of an overall children's orphanage centre. The school has the capacity for 420 children aged 6-12 years old.
